rooftop movies

this was really cool. we recently went to a rooftop showing of hitchcock's psycho. whole foods and the alamo hosted it and they served a three course meal. very yummy, very exciting.

jonathan and i laughed during the classic shower scene. old scary movies are funny-
this is how it went:
movie: "ekk ekk ekk!"
us: "hee hee hee!"
me: i want more meatloaf

a baby is will soon be here

on a 1/2 sick & 1/2 hungover saturday- i was to host my sister in laws baby shower. no caterer, i pulled it off myself. suuuucccessssss!

halloween surprises

i forgot to check the mail for two weeks. i had two surprises that were waiting to be found!

Amy sent me some little fruit candies! She also wrote the nicest card that said:

Weezie, I think about you all the time and wish we lived closer! happy halloween my friend! xox A


Then Surprise number 2:

April sent the next surprise- So april and i would probably never be friends in normal circumstances. oddly enough, we have this strange connection. well, she sent me a halloween mask that i love. i found a picture of katy perry wearing a mask like the one she sent me a few months and i loved it- april completely did not know about this !!!i wanted a glittery kitty mask too but couldn't find it anywhere.. then april sent it to me! seriously, odd right? i'm gonna take a picture like katy's one of these days, but for now i'll post one of me with no make-up, semi-wet hair, and tired eyes.... going to bed! i'm no katy perry, believe me but i do love that mask!

all in all, i have good friends back home. which made my move to another state even harder at times... sigh

ode to halloween!

o halloween why cant you come twice a year?
this year for halloween, we did it BIG! really, BIG!
flew to vegas with my best friends- and dressed like elvis. when planning all this i thought to myself, "when else in my life will i get to be elvis in vegas? i gotta live it up now, before i wake up one day and missed out". screw the money, screw the law. i'm young! hey hey

why hello there?
beats me why anyone would read this except for me. i like to think that all the stupid things that go through my head, need a blog. not a journal- because writing is different then typing. If i was writing a journal. I would be annoyed by the amount of scratch outs and ugly inconsistent handwriting. So ladies and gentleman, a blog it is! And here we go!
