Etsy Friend of the week: Andrea Winkler with PrettyRaccoon Clothing

I ran across Andrea's clothing while clicking around Etsy. Oh, PrettyRaccoon Clothing, I couldn't resist the mix of vintage and graphics from dresses to tees. Don't we all need a "cute vintage blazer in excellent condition. Long puffy sleeves, princess seams and mandarin collar. Two front faux pockets." Why, yes, we all do! And here's the kicker, a beautiful blazer like that we cost you a whopping $33. I love her mix up- red fringe, big bows, owl graphics, emerald greens, and killer vintage looks. Check her out, fall in love, and order that shirt that everyone will ask, "Where'd you get that?"!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

It's no surprise to my love ones that I love any holiday. I am a gift giver extraordinaire. I am, I have a rep for it. From little to lots, I love you's are out there! I imagine me being really happy and living my childhood memory/dream with the giant gummy bear from Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Who wouldn't be happy getting that?? My other favorite is the heart shaped lollipops specifically from Lollie's Galore. I actually ordered these for my wedding and gave them out as favors. There's something about these lollie's that taste so good! Not not mention, the smoking hot red lipstick, the sweet everyday rose earrings, and the killer heart shaped shoe clips! Here's a list of things I wouldn't mind getting to remember that VALENTINE'S is right around the corner!
1. Nicole by OPI nail Polish
2. Heart Shoe Clips
3. A Big Giant Gummy bears
4. Yves Saint Laurent Lipstick

photobooth love

Growning up, I loved an old fashioned photobooth. I remember my first real film strip. I was with my mom at Wolsworth's in the Houma Mall. I jumped in the booth by myself and the film strip obsession started. I went to get my brother and then we did one together. Now I live in Austin, and the only place I can find a real photo booth like the one in Wolsworth's is at Amy's Ice Cream. They still have the old fashion booth but it only works some of time and when it does, the results are if'y. Nowadays, you'll see digital film strips but they aren't the same. My favorite and new age alternative is the smile booths.
We had a smile booth at our wedding and talk about a hit! We did it! Anyone can do it! A smile booth is a great alternative to the old boring party favors that you see at most weddings. I decided to dig up some awesome pics from other smile booth parties. It was a great way to loosen the crowd up and get things going on a fun note! Any age can do it, cram as many people as you can, or just go solo. Whatever you do, it's awesome and fun. Something I highly recommend for a party or for a wedding!

OUR WEDDING PHOTOBOOTH

Easy Made Invites

Never send a dull card again!! It's so easy not to. Grab a cool shaped punch, a hole punch, a stamp, whatever, it may be, do it! Your receivers will love you for it! I love the great patterned paper, add a bold stamp in the corner! Walla! Cute simple and completely DYI. Another lovely idea is putting a pretty Dollie in an envelope. I actually did this one but used a pretty vellum envelope. It turned out beautifully! In a world of pretty paper, stamps, and DYI love, lets create like crazy people!

Purdy bride ensemble

I promised myself to be more friendly to my blog. I felt the need to be more personal and loving towards my ideas and thoughts. Then I realized, I'm due to get married in 6 weeks! I'm lucky if I remember to breath. Last night, I realized I have a big shower at the end of the month, a ladies lunch in, engagement photos, a rehearsal dinner, and a bachelorette party. Have I thought about what I was wearing to all these event. Kinda but not really. Then I started to go through my closet. In the past year, I bought bride friendly clothes. Things I knew would come in handy. In honor of the wedding planning, which has it great moments, I decided to show some of the wonderful textures, bead work, and ruffles that will be part of the wedding week wardrobe.
